Software Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026.
Management Reports and the JPW Practice Assistant are internal tools operated by JPW Accountancy & Advisory Ltd for its professional services. They are not offered for retail sale or licensing. The public connection service supports authorised accounting connections; the private application is accessed only by authorised users.
You must have authority to connect the relevant QuickBooks, Xero or FreeAgent company, or to authorise JPW Accountancy & Advisory Ltd as agent to access the relevant HMRC tax account. By connecting, you authorise retrieval of the information needed for the agreed accounting, tax and practice-management services.
The HMRC integration is read-only and limited to VAT obligation dates and filing status. It does not submit a return, alter an HMRC record or collect HMRC sign-in credentials. Production use requires HMRC access, the appropriate client authority and satisfaction of HMRC's fraud-prevention requirements for the deployed connection method, including its treatment of any unavailable header information. Sandbox functionality and earlier tests do not establish production availability.
Reports, calculations and deadline information depend on the records and third-party services available at the time. They remain subject to accountant review and the terms of the relevant engagement. They do not, by themselves, replace professional accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.
JPW Accountancy & Advisory Ltd does not claim that this software is approved, accredited or endorsed by HMRC. HMRC and accounting providers may change or withdraw their services.
You may ask us to disconnect an accounting connection or stop the application's use of HMRC authority. Local HMRC disconnection removes the stored access and refresh tokens; it does not automatically withdraw permissions at HMRC or delete retained tax and audit records. HMRC permissions may also be withdrawn through HMRC's own authorisation arrangements.
Privacy information is in our Software Privacy Policy and Practice Privacy Policy. Questions, support requests and security reports may be sent to jonathan@jpwaccountancy.co.uk or raised by telephone on 0191 213 5540.
